School Change Thru R P
Thurs, October 24, 2024
Begin your 2024-25 school year prioritizing the strength and well-being of your learning community by engaging in a Restorative Practices workshop. We will explore ways to bring positive change to your school by developing protocols that reflect on the universal human need for voice, agency, and belonging while learning about how proactive and restorative circles could be used to build relationships, repair harm, and solve problems. This session will provide a refresher of the impact that affect and emotions provide in developing a powerful path to connection with our students and each other.
Participants will hear from current practitioners who have incorporated Restorative Practices into their classrooms, schools, and districts. They will relate the process they used and the changes they have seen in the student body and staff as a result. Additionally, participants will explore sample protocols that can support staff in implementing this mind set change to bring about a more cohesive and collaborative learning community. Cost: $175.00 – limit of 30 participants.
To request an invoice, email restorativepracticesofmaine@gmail.com.
Be sure to include the names of the attendees, their positions, and email addresses, as well as the name of the district and the mailing address of the district business office.
